HELP MY BESTIE HAS A BOYFRIEND!!!!
If you are struggling with this issue, this is a sign that you are definitely growing up whether you are the single bestie or the bestie with the boo. That’s why we decided to add this as a topic under our RealTalk series. That’s the thing about friendships there comes a time when we have to let loose a little and get a little free time. This could be your best friend, close cousin, or sister. Either way there comes a time when relationships will get in the way but it’s okay because it’s normal. So here are some signs your bestie has a boo and next week we will give you some advice for both the single bestie and the bestie with the boo.
They always talk about them
Every time you start a discussion about food, your favorite tv show, or just anything about your life, his name pops right up. It’s really fun at first and then after a while your like, “Okay, I get it!!” Right? Well, that’s the only person on their mind so it is definitely normal. Yes it can be a little much when you’re trying to have a convo about your day or how something you were looking forward to went array. That’s definitely a sign your bestie has a boo!
They spend more time with their boo
You ask what their doing after school today and you before you know it, you haven’t hung out in over a week!!! That’s not normal. Yes, those after school snack breaks at Starbucks start slowing up. This is a sign that they are more interested in spending more time with their new boo. That doesn’t mean that they don’t want to spend time with their bestie, it just means that they need a little space right now.
They start cancelling plans
Here we go! You plan to get your nails done Friday to go to that awesome concert you’ve been talking about for months. You come up to her locker and ask if she wants to meet you there or ride with you, “OMG! I completely forgot. What about next week?” I know you’re disappointed, but as stated before this is normal in situations like this. It can be really disappointing when you’ve been looking forward to this for months and weeks.
Plan dates with you and then bring their boo along

Their snuggled together eating popcorn and you’re on the other side of the sofa like, “How did this happen?” Yes, your bestie definitely has a boo and she is not letting up. Like said before this is so normal and it can make you feel bad especially if that’s your only friend that you hang out with.
Yes all these are so normal and we want you to know that you how you feel is normal to. There’s no need to feel bad, stop talking, or get jealous.
